Security Alarms:

In today’s society, burglar alarms are an important part of everyday life. A prominent JB Security bell box will act as a good deterrent to would be intruders. The alarm system itself would usually consist of detection devices, audible devices, a main control panel and a small keypad from which you would control the system. Detection devices can be anything from the common P.I.R detectors you see in the corners of most homes, to shock sensors on doors and windows and I.R beams (for large external areas). The keypads we use operate using a 4-6 digit code determined by the customer or by using a proximity tag. Other features available to add on to the system are monitoring services.

This can be in the form of a device sending text or phone messages to, yourselves or our monitoring station. This can also be linked to full police response.  JB Security specialise in installing wire free systems which involves minimal disruption to property and décor. All systems are installed to the latest European standards and come with a SSAIB certificate of compliance, for full insurance approval and 12 months unconditional guarantee, with full 24hr call out service.

Monitored Systems:

All the monitored alarm systems installed by JB security will have full insurance approval with a certificate of compliance issued on completion. We are approved by both West Yorkshire police and North Yorkshire police allowing us to obtain U.R.N’s (unique reference numbers) from both forces, a mandatory requirement by both forces for full police response.

We can install a variety of monitoring equipment including BT Red Care or CSL Dual Com. Using both standard landline telephone connections and GSM or GPRS technology equipment. All monitored alarms will be covered by 24/7 call out service by our team of engineers to ensure continuous security coverage. All equipment will be purchased outright by the customer, no hidden rental agreement.

Maintenance and Service:

All of our new installations come with a 12 month guarantee and service contract which is renewable annually. Included in the maintenance agreement are reduced charges for out of hours calls, free replacement parts (as detailed in the contract) and a visit to site to complete a report of the condition of the alarm and physically check the operation of the system. This is where we can pick up any future problems and stop them from occurring.
